Reply To: Worst migraine trigger

I have my top 3 that always trigger migraines for me, without fail.
The first, which is very strange, is non-beef hot dogs. If I eat a hot dog that isn’t 100% beef, I know for sure I am going to suffer later for it. I’m not sure if it’s the additives in non-beef hot dogs that do it (because don’t ALL hot dogs have additives?) or just the fact that it’s not just “one” meat in the other hot dogs but it never fails.
The second is working long hours. I work with computers all day every day and if I’m stuck working too long, my eyes become very sensitive and the migraines begin. Most of my migraines are right above my left eye and my family can always tell I have one just by looking in my eyes. Sometimes I even get ocular migraines from it.
The third trigger would be air conditioning. I can tolerate air conditioning in short bursts but if I’m in a cold room, colder than the average AC, or I’m in my car with the AC blowing in my face, the migraine starts to creep in.
Does anyone else have these triggers?
